Wine Market Study in Thailand


In recent years, various studies confirm the rising trend in Thai alcohol consumption. 2004
saw an increase of 10 percent in total volume and 31 percent in term of value for wine
imports over the previous year. U.S. wine is one of the top five major players in the
imported wine market in Thailand. U.S. wine importers set a new record in 2004 with an
increase in sales value of 72.10 percent and 50.12 percent in sales volume over 2003.
